These nucs are available starting May 1, 2024. We have 100 nucs to sell and you will be placed on a list as your order comes in and you will be contacted a week before your nuc is ready. We generally prepare 25 nucs per week for pickup. In other words the sooner you place your order the earlier your pickup date will be.
These Nuc come from Knox County Ohio. We develop these nucs in Knox County mostly from our farm. Some queens are spring queens and some are over wintered. If you have a preference we will try to get you what you want but there is no guarantee. Queens are of all different races and if you have a preference we will try our best to get you what you want.
Nucs will come in Jester Bee Boxes which means you can schedule and come by at any time to pick up your bees. Also the Jester boxes can be reused to catch swarms.
What the you are getting: Five deep drawn frames, at least three frames of brood in various stages, one frame of honey and pollen, and one frame of drawn comb with space for the queen to work. Queen may be marked and there will be plenty of bees. If it is a spring queen she will be laying for at least 3 weeks before pickup. This way her performance can be evaluated. There will be spring queens and over wintered queens and I will work with you to get you what you want but there is no guarantee on the availability of either. Also you will have a bee coach for the season, we are available via phone or text 24 hours a day:)
Payment is due at the time of order.
Nucs will be picked up at My Bee Supply in Mount Vernon, OH.
If I am unable to fill your order, you will be due a full refund of all moneys paid. Nucs will be available on or before the specified delivery date. Please remember we are dealing with nature. In 8 years of selling nucs I have always filled the orders I take with good quality stock.
When the nuc is ready you will be contacted, and we will work out an appointment for pick up. Please include a contact number on your order. If you cannot pick up on the ready date, I am flexible but please communicate.
