As always My Bee Supply is looking to expand our sources of quality Package bees for our customers. The Carniolan are a popular breed due to very gentle temperament and early spring buildup. The Carniolan bee comes from Northern Europe and because of that tends to have more cold tolerance. Although all bees are in breeding programs to be mite resistant, the Carniolans seem to be better at it.
These queens are Hybrids meaning that they are daughters of a purebred line of Carniolans but then they are open mated making them hybrids. all packages are technically hybrids because we cannot control the mating habits of the queens in the package.
Whether you know it or not this is agriculture and Queen rearing and packages are weather dependent. Pickup date may vary a week or so depending on the weather. As we get closer I will email or call with exact delivery time. Please make sure you include a contact phone number with your order.
