Pro-Sweet Liquid Feed is a great choice for late fall feeding. Pro-Sweet is already in a cured state and will not crystallize or ferment like sugar water.
In Central Ohio, once we get past the first week of October, it becomes too late to feed sugar water. If you feed sugar water late, and the bees do not get it cured by reducing its moisture content, then it will ferment. If it ferments, bees will have a difficult time utilizing it in the middle of winter. Pro-Sweet is ready for the bees to put right into storage for their winter needs.
